  • Expanded employee data collection, monitoring, and reporting in line with Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) guidelines.
  • Measuring progress on an ongoing basis.

Education

Education
  • Formed Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Council with representatives from across the company.
  • Developed company-wide education materials, training, and discussions around underrepresented groups, racial injustice, and its historical significance.
  • Expanded our resource library and access to external courses on themes like mitigating bias and fostering an inclusive workplace.
  • Introduced ongoing internal trainings hosted by external subject matter experts, including unconscious bias.
  • Started internal book clubs, cooking classes, and other activities focused on educating the company on different cultural backgrounds.

Community

Community
  • Raise money for employee driven causes such as the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness, and the LGBTQ Community Center of New York.
  • Establishing Employee Resource Groups for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and working parents and allies.
  • Offer time off to vote in local, state, and national elections.
